Hello everyone. Well, as I wrote in my description, this newsletter is devoted to “Stories of moments when time stands still…” and I find myself in need of one of those moments now.
I need to take a break from the rhythm of the weekly post, and accumulate some writing in a stretch, free of the deadline. The real subject of my saga lies in the hidden valleys of an invisible landscape of feeling, and, unlike the songwriting genius it centers around, I need a lot of reflection to bring that dimension into clear enough focus to depict it in words.
Luckily, Substack knows this happens sometimes, and has given writers the option of a Pause button that suspends all subscriptions in that place where time stands still. So you won´t be charged for what you don´t receive. In the meantime, I´ll be writing, and I expect to be back in a month or so.
I thank you in advance for your understanding. And I thank you for your past support, and those wonderful comments which have been not only fascinating but heart-warming as well, an elixir that I get to take a sip of each week, warming my heart and inspiring my work.
My cup runneth over. I raise that glass in gratitude to you all.
See you in the Spring!
– Christie
P.S. I will keep my other newsletter, Moments of Connection, going as usual, and you are very welcome to drop in anytime!
Thank you for your posts here, I raise my glass to you. Reading your posts here I had I sense that I wanted to type some more words to you, but also I didn't want to bombard you with replies!.. There was something that I wanted to say about this time, the time that you describe, how it is interesting. It seems like the beginning of something. I was about to send you a link to something, a painting within a film that I found. Maybe you already saw it. Is it okay to send you the link?

The clarity of thoughts, emotions, images is well worth the wait. Inspirational.
